The Asobagri Coop was founded in 1989 by 20 K’anjob’al Mayan coffee and cardamom farmers. Increased revenues brought by Fair Trade certification has provided the community with access to improved transportation, health and education services. Spectacularly rugged terrain has preserved this isolated corner of Guatemala in its indigenous ways.
Happy holidays coffee lovers!
We are taking a short break to spend time with our families during the holidays. Our last day of the year was Friday, December 20th. We will return to roast amazing coffee Monday, January 6th. It has been a pleasure to roast for you this year and we look forward to continuing to do so in the new year!
Happy New Year!!

Colson –
I’ve only tried a half dozen different Scott’s Bros varieties but this Guatemalan is the best coffee I’ve ever drank.
