On the northern tip of the island of Sumatra in the district of Aceh, family-owned farms organized around the Redelong Organic Cooperative, grow coffee using traditional methods. Many of the cooperative members have leadership roles in the local government giving them the unique opportunity to collaborate coffee production and community projects.
